Daily Fantasy Roundup
– August 17, 2015
Week 1 of the preseason came to a close with the Eagles
36-10 victory over the Colts on Sunday. Even without Sam Bradford and DeMarco
Murray suiting up, the fast-paced Philly offense looked crisp while the Colts seemed
content to get their reps in. Most importantly, we got our first look at some
promising rookies and there are a couple of interesting takeaways to pass
along.
Eagles first-rounder Nelson Agholor had an impressive
debut, putting up a line of 3/57/1 on 5 targets. Agholor appears to be in
line to start the season as the WR2 for the Eagles and will be an intriguing
prospect to watch in the Chip Kelly offense. Week 1 of the regular season finds
the Eagles traveling to Atlanta for a Monday Night affair with the Falcons.
Agholor should be firmly on your radar at a price of $5,700.
On the Colts side, rookies Phillip Dorsett and Josh Robinson
provided some
glimpses into the future. The Colts are very high on Dorsett and he is
squarely in the mix for the WR3 role behind T.Y. Hilton and Andre Johnson.
Sixth-round pick Robinson is more of a long-term prospect but a name to
remember in case the injury bug strikes the 32-year-old Frank Gore. Dorsett
could be a bargain at $3,600 for Week 1’s date with the Bills. Robinson is
priced at $3,000 but is not a valid option at this point.
